IOM Spring Regatta

Sunday October 28 we held the IOM Spring Regatta at Seaview with 8 boats attending. The condition was a good northerly with the attending gusts, ‘B’ rig was require. Mike was the only one to achieve a good performance, the rest of us seemed to struggle at times with the gusts. Bruce did not come up to his normal standard –coming to terms with his new sails, I believe. I can see that there is a need for some ‘polishing’ on the ‘Start Line’!! With several being ‘called back’ (anxious to get on with it, no doubt) The day was overseen by Peter, many thanks Peter.’
