IOM Regatta Winter Day 3 – Results

Arriving at the Seaview Marina, we were greeted with a cloudy outlook and little or no wind!

It was during the first race that the wind arrived with a vengeance, we finished the first race and down graded the to ‘B’ rig.

The 6th race bought a slight drizzle which continued to increase in intensity. By the time we completed the last race, we had had enough.

Despite a few minor problems throughout the afternoon, the racing was very close.

  • First:     John McPherson    6 points
  • Second: Ed Schmidt         14 points
  • Third:    Darrell Blewett    17 points
  • Fourth:  Russell Tulloch    19 points

It must be noted that Day 1 and Day 2 of the Winter Series, where both cancelled, due to adverse weather conditions
