All Class Handicap Winter Day 3 – Results

On Sunday 9th October 2016 we held Day 3 of the Winter Series  All Class Handicap at the Aotea Lagoon. Despite a very late start we enjoyed an eventful afternoon with a light southerly, some rain, and some sunshine. It is a long time since we have experienced a southerly at the lagoon, and we found the sailing was far superior to the northerlies that seem to predominate at this venue.

One of our new members, Brian Sullivan, proved his worth on the water, by coming second overall–well done Brian. John McPherson lent his boat and skills to Anthony Reilly who contributed to Johns healthy points collection. Anthony had been a member, but his health has kept him away from sailing.  Good to see you  back Anthony
