AC15 Fleet Racing Results

Sunday 26 November we staged the AC15 Fleet Racing at Seaview Marina, 5 boats arrived  and they were all ‘rearing to go’. The conditions were marginal for the ‘A’ rig but, because Les arrived, we decided to stick to the ‘B’ rig, the gusts at that time would have been too much for him to handle, consequently, he did surprisingly well.
I don’t care what people think of the AC15’s but when they are at speed, they are spectacular. The conditions couldn’t have been better— a nice steady southerly with the odd gust. Every race was a tussle between all of the skippers –the points really do not give justice to the placings.  One slip, and you lost your place. A good day was had by all.
