AC15 Summer Series Day 1 Results

The event held Sunday 28 February was Day 1 of the Summer Series, AC 15 Match Racing, and the venue was the Seaview Marina.
The conditions at home this morning were –clear sky and a very light northerly: on arriving at the marina, I was  greeted with clear skies, and reasonably strong southerly. The general consensus was that the ‘B’rig should be used, Ed unfortunately  did NOt bring his ‘B’ rig, so abandoned the racing. Darrell had to carry out some ‘running repairs’ to his rigging, but the remainder of the team started while these repairs where completed.
I’d make a comment about this- -these boats can be a real handful,  in  windy conditions, during the launching and retreiving process.
David developed winch problems during his 6th race and eventually pulled out. The racing overall was very close  with the lead position changing several times during each flight.
