AC15 Summer Series Match Racing Day 2 Results

Sunday March 4 was Day 2 of the AC15 Summer Series Match Racing. It is many years since the AC15’s have sailed at Whitby Lake as a fleet, and it was spectacular to watch. The weather was great -a light northerly probably at about 20 km/h or less which tended to be a quite un-forgiving at times, and it became worse as the day wore on. The event was attended by a full compliment of 5 skippers. Absolutely nothing between the boats at all, very close finishes. Ed had to borrow a winch to attend. Great to see Les making progress with his sailing. A very enjoyable day.
