Summer Series IOM Fleet Racing Day 5
Sunday June 17 we staged day 5 of the Summer Series IOM Fleet Racing at Seaview Marina. 6 skippers turned up to a pleasant but variable northerly. It varied between very light to zero at times. John and Ed showed us all how to cope with the conditions, until Ed pulled out with transmitter problems. Great to see Peter ‘on the water’ again. Bruce and Russell had some good tussles. Over all the racing was very close, despite what the points say. The RO for the event was Rod and the overall winner of the event was John. well done. There is one more event in this series and I would say the end results will be quite close.
