Day 2 Winter Series AC15 Match Racing – Results
Sunday September 9 we held Day 2 of the Winter Series AC15 Match Racing, the venue was Seaview Marina. 3 brave skippers (David had a bad cold and was confined to home) a very wise decision, as it was bitterly cold –southerly. ‘B’ rigs was the suit of the day as the wind was gusting quite heavy. Darrell was quick off the mark with 2 flights up his sleeve before he struck a couple of laps where the top buoy really had it in for him. This gave Ed and Ron a chance to make up some points but Darrell came right and won his next 2 flights, which put him in the lead again. The Race officer for the day was Ron –thank you Ron.
