Winter Series All Class H/C Day 4 Results
The event held Sunday October 13 was Day 4 of the Winter Series All Class Handicap. The conditions were such that it was doubtful whether we would sail. ‘C’ rig was required—it was a real strong southerly. Still the boats held together surprisingly well. 8 skippers turned up but only 5 actually sailed, either because they didn’t possess a ‘C’ rig or it was too rough. Dave pulled out from race 4 with a clip becoming un-fastened, and lost over board. but the rest of us kept goin’ without any major problems. The sailing was a good test of both skippers and their boats. The event was administered by Rod with the able assistance of Bruce- thank you both.
