Sunday November 11 we held the final (Day 4) of the Winter Series AC15 Match Racing at Seaview, and what a great day it was. Sunny with a good, steady southerly, ideal for sailing in general. The marina car park was full, every man and his dog was ‘on the water’. Darrell had a bit of a bad start, with a broken fore-stay, but that was rapidly repaired and he went on to win 4 consecutive races, which put him in good stead. Ron carried out some minor changes to his rigging last week–only he would know if it made any difference. As usual, we finished the day with several Fleet Races’
