Sunday March 24 we held Day 2 of the Summer Series IOM Fleet Racing. The conditions where ‘trying’ to say the least. Overcast with gusty northerlies, but warm. Most of the skippers made use of their ‘A’ rigs despite the gusts and as anticipated, did experience some difficulties. The only ‘B’ rig was Mike and he did very well. Dave came up to his normal standard followed closely by Wayne, well done both of you. It is a few years since we have seen Richard on the ‘water, welcome back Richard. We hope to see more of you, perhaps yesterday was not the ideal conditions for a first time out with your boat. Time on the water will tell.
