AC15 Match Racing Day 4 Results
Today we held day 4 of the Summer series AC15 Match Racing, and the
venue was Lake Whitby. The conditions were a bit of a mixed bag, sunny
with a gusty northerly. ‘B’ rig was the determined suit for the event. 4
skippers attended, but only 3 boats, so the ‘odd man out’ was permitted
to sail the boat of his choice. The points gained in this case were for
the skipper not the boat.
All skippers gained 12 points over all so the Race Recorder had to refer
to the RRS C11 to determine the rankings. Just goes to show–a good
skipper can handle any boat, no matter how it is trimmed.
