Day 4 of the Winter Series All Class Handicap at Whitby

The scheduled event for today was, Day 4 of the Winter Series  All
Class Handicap, and despite the conditions was held at Whitby Lake. The
conditions where far for ideal for sailing but 4 brave  skippers did
arrive to be greeted to a real blustery northerly. ‘A’ rigs where tried,
but the ‘B’ rig was decided on. Great to see Bruce and Hans  willing to
have a go. The gusts where a real challenge for everyone.  Both Darrell 
and Rod  incurred breakages, so with Hans having  to leave early, meant
that we had to cut short the scheduled 7 races down to 4. Bruce won the
day -well done Bruce, and you Hans, you excelled yourself today–well done
