Day 5 Winter Series AC15 Match Racing

Today we staged the final day of the Winter Series AC15 Match Racing.
The weather was despite all promises fine with a blustery northerly,
such that the ‘B’ rig was chosen It was great to David back in the fold
again after his absence. It is amazing how these boat skim the water
with a good following wind. Ed had to drop 2 races with winch problems.
Darrell had to bludge some cable ties to facilitate some ‘running
repairs’ to keep his boat going.. As side comment –if Ed had not
dropped 2 flights he would have tied the win with David, bad luck Ed.
