AC15 Match Racing Spring Day 4

 

   ‘ Today we held Day 6 of the Spring Series  AC15 Match Racing, and the event was held at Seaview Marina.
The 4 skippers arrived early in anticipation of our normal chat time.

We were all surprised at the conditions, as we were promised ‘a few showers’ in the AM (didn’t eventuate) but we had plenty of sun with a few clouds and a nice steady southerly. 

David had a good day’s racing winning each of his flights, well done David.
Overall the racing was very close with plenty o’Yesterday we held the last club event for 2022. The event was AC 15
Fleet Racing and the venue was Whitby Lake. The event was attended by
only 3 of the AC15 skippers– Ron was ill and had to withdraw.
The conditions turned to be terrific, sunny with a un-predictable
northerly. The racing was very tight with the lead changing frequently.
The racing went without a hitch with no breakages.
A good afternoon was had by all.’f changes for the lead position.
As usual, we finished off with a few fleet races.’
