IOM All Day Scratch Racing @ Winstones (KRYC)

A fleet of nine IOMs competed for bragging rights at Winstones today in breezes that tracked all around the compass.  The wind strength varied from middle of A Rig to drifting conditions.  

Great to see Andy’s refurbished Goth design (sporting new sails by Andy) cutting it pretty well – including a first place in Race 4.

At the end of the day, top place on the podium went to Mike Garden (159) with a very consistent set of results over the fourteen races.  The all day format proved a winner and the racing showcased Winstones at it’s very best.  Results are also on the the KRYC website.
