AC15 Match Racing Spring Day 1

‘Today we ran the  the AC15 Match Racing Day 1 of the Spring Series at Whitby.

Only 3 boats turned up today,  David v d P had family matters to attend to and Mark (new member)  had that ‘dreaded lurgy’ COVID.  Ron is unwell and we may not be seeing ‘on the water’ any time soon. Still the 3 that did arrive had an enjoyable afternoon with the wind playing havoc as it normally does at Whitby. The racing was very close -little more than seconds between winning and coming second.

Dave is relatively new to R/C sailing and is proving to be quite a formidable
opponent. The overall winner was Ed with 13 points  . Well done Ed’
