Another lovely winters day on the whitby lake. Tricky wind conditions, so getting a good start was crucial. I recall that Wyne and I spent much of the Handicap start just trying to get started, while the counter still ticked down.   Cheers Rod      

Again, another lovely winters day.Light easterlies made for tricky conditions, so a short course was used to avoid the doldrums at the south end of the lake.WIth such light winds and less time for the WRYC AGM, only four races could be sailed by 3pm. Good to see Dave with his hurricane again

Day 6 of the All class Handicap was held at Whitby.   A lovely sunny day with light N to NE wind.  Mark unfortunatly had some RC issues with his boat, so started a couple of races but never manged to finish and had to withdraw. Today at Whitby…Patchy wind and some rain. Six boats across the day, but Ed had to retire due to electrical  problems. Still some good sailing by all.

Another lovely sunny day at Whitby… But the SE wind was patchy and gusty all day, that made for very trying conditions. The WRYC white bouy is still missing, the start was moved to the Northern Bouys in the lake and the Pink bouy at the usual starting line was used to try to get a up and downwind course. […]
