IOM Autumn Regatta Results
Sunday July 22 event was the IOM Autumn Regatta, the venue was the Seaview Marina. The conditions prior to the event were dismal to say the least, strong winds with real ‘hairy gusts, and rain. But, it cleared up by the time we arrived at the venue. We ended up with condition that varied between a light breeze and heavy gusts. B rig was the obvious selection. John and Ed very rapidly took the lead positions in most races but they were very closely followed by Darrell. Bruce and Rod, understandably, looked as if they had problems coping with the conditions. The Race Officer for the event was Rod and the over all winner was John.
